The Sea Cadets are a National Uniformed Youth Organisation, open for boys and girls aged 10-18. | Activities are mainly of a nautical theme and include boating, sailing, canoeing, sports and adventure training. | 
| Other activities are rowing, swimming, Duke of Edinburgh Award, First Aid, competitions with other Cadet units. | The Sea Cadets are recognised by the RYA and they operate a badge scheme. |

| Age Groups: | | The Junior section for 10-12 year olds takes place on Fridays and Sundays. | | The Ships Company is for youths aged 12-18 years, taking place on Tuesday and Friday nights, plus Sundays 10.15am-12.30pm |
