Walton Bridge Cruiser Club

The Walton Bridge Cruiser Club website can be viewed by clicking on the logo above.  The site is published for the benefit of club members, and also for the interest of all who have a genuine desire to enjoy life afloat.

There is considerable boating experience within the current membership.  This is available to all - whether members or not - who wish to make their first boat purchase or indeed to those who have already taken the plunge.  Membership, of course, provides the opportunity to enjoy good companionship and the various activities of the club which may be of interest.

New members with boating experience are also very welcome, adding new dimensions to club cruising activity.

Boat handling tuition for the novice and navigation techniques - from the very basic to the more advanced - will be freely given, enabling the participants, if they so wish, to undertake RYA courses for Certificates of Competence with absolute confidence.

Shore based activities apart, endeavours are made annually to arrange an interesting cruising programme to suit all needs.  These include up-river; down-river tidal to any one of the city marinas; a day trip to a favourite safe anchoring area in the lower reaches of the Thames; and, for the more adventurous, further points eastward, including the Medway, East Coast, Ramsgate and onward for those so inclined.  More details can be obtained from the Officers and Secretary of the club on the website – www.waltonbridge.org.uk
